The 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5 comes with your choice of a 58-kWh battery pack or a 77-kWh battery pack. The highest trim has a 77-kWh battery pack, dual motors, and all-wheel drive. The highest range on the 2022 IONIQ 5 is found on its Preferred Long Range trim and is 488 kilometres. Driving the 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5 is incredibly exciting with handling that is responsive and acceleration that goes from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds!

The 2023 Solterra is slower and takes about 6.5 seconds to hit 96 km/h. It offers a 72.8-kWh battery pack and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The 2023 Solterra range tops out at 336 kilometres. The 2023 Solterra has 8.3 inches of ground clearance and three off-road settings that make it fit for adventures. However, the 2022 Solterra can't tow, while the 2022 IONIQ 5 can tow up to 2,000 lbs.
